Safe Kinga was born from a simple but powerful realization: while Kenya faces increasing climate threats, the most advanced weather technology often fails to reach those who need it most. Founded in Nairobi, we set out to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and community-level action.

Our journey began when our founders witnessed the devastating effects of flash floods in Kenya’s informal settlements and prolonged droughts in Kenya’s agricultural heartlands. Safe Kinga emerged as the solution—a platform that alerts actionable early warnings for floods, droughts, and disease outbreaks directly to  communities, to safeguard lives and protect livelihoods in the face of climate change and disaster.
